　・Similarly to TEA salt , less irritant but
　　better foaming property. Comparing to
　　Alkyl-glycosides, much better
　　foam-breaking is　one of main
　　characteristics.

OCTIE　(INCI Code：Aluminium Starch Octenylsuccinate）
　・Fine powder in 5～20μm. (corn starch origin)
　・Exhibit water repellency due to its hydrophobic group.
　・Evenly dispersing into ethanol, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol etc.
　・Also evenly dispersing in water by adding surfactant.
　・Particles are swelling and gelatinizing by heating more than 60℃ in water.
　・By adding OCTIE to oily materials, it restrains sticky touch and gives dry feeling.
　・No whitish mark remains on skin.

Instant Adhesive for Paper Wares
Amycol ML
　Amycol ML is an instant adhesive newly developed for wallpapers, paper-bags and plain rolled paper tubes. Amycol ML is powder excellent in preservation and stability in long term. Amycol ML becomes smooth paster when put in water and stir. Without cooking, it can be prepared any necessary volume. As Amycol ML is manufactured from ingredients which are reproduced in nature, it is so much environment friendly adhesive.

How to prepare paste
①Prepare vessel (or container) and stirring device.
②Pour designated volume of water (Amycol ML：water＝ 1：7～8).
③Put Amycol ML at a stretch into the container and start to stirring immediately.
④Keep stirring about 5 minutes until becoming even paste and leave it about 15 minutes.
⑤Then restirring about 1 minute, shiny and smooth paste could be obtained.

High Dielectric Starch
VISGUM 12
　Cyanoethyl starch		 　Cyanoethyl starch with high degree of substitution. This is soluble in solvents such as aceton, propylenecarbonate, NMP and so forth. Even adhesive to hydrophobic materials. This product has excellent in film forming and shows high dielectric property. Not soluble in water. D.S.：2.4～2.6

Caking Agent for Soft Mud
Chemical Plug Shield (CPS) Method
　The Shield Method is widely adopted in construction of under-ground　tunnels, sewer systems and under-ground passages etc. Excavating with a rotating propeller equipped blades at the edge, which is protected by pouring muddy water, at the same time it facilitates operation. In construction under ground with high hydraulic pressure, there is a risk of spouting excavated soil. Under CPS system, to prevent from spouting muddy soil and to achieve smooth excavating working, the muddy soil containing profuse water is coagulated into plugs on the screw-conveyer during transporting up to the ground. We have developed a solidifying agent “ERFRESH” based on natural plant ingredient. This facilitates carrying out the waste soil from the working site and returns to nature. This is uniqe slurry treatment agent and widely being applied to Chemical Plug Shield Method as the officially resistered agent at The Shield Method Engineering Association.
