CLASSIFICATION OF MODIFIED STARCH
Modified starch can be classified into two categories; one is derivative with functional group and its decomposition and another is physically treated starch such as treated by heat etc. Various products are made by modifying or processing native starch in different degrees or the combination of these treatments to meet specific uses. Basic classification is as per the table below:
RAW STARCH Derivative Ether Hydroxyalkyl Starch
Carboxymethyl Starch
Cationic Starch
Ester Starch Acetate
Starch Octenyl Succinate
Starch Phosphate
Cross-link Distarch Phosphate
Distarch Glycerol
Graft Graft Copolymerized Starch
 Decomposition Pyro Dextrin White Dextrin
Yellow Dextrin
British Gum
Enzymolysis Malto-Dextrin
Oxidization Soluble Starch
Pregelatinization Pregelatinized Unmodified Starch
 Pregelatinized Modified Starch
Others J.P. Grade Starch
 Granular Starch
 Oil Absorbent Starch
Natural Gum Derivative Ether Hydroxyalkyl Gur Gum
Cationic Gur Gum
Carboxymethyl Gur Gum
We produce not only modified starch but also derivative of Natural Gum.
